In 1976 in a cellar in Denmark, a young silversmith, Søren Nielsen, created a small silver orb with delicate faces sculpted onto it. When he drilled a hole through his creation, the very first Trollbead, "the Mask", was born. At first, Trollbeads could only be found in a tiny jewelers shop in Copenhagen, until they caught the eyes of customers and requests for new creations in different symbols and shapes flooded in. The legacy of Trollbeads had begun.

Trollbeads are a collection of over 400 beautifully crafted sterling silver, glass, 14ct and 18ct beads combined with natural pearls and precious stones. Each bead has its own tale, taking inspiration from mythology, astrology, fairy tales, cultural diversity, and everyday familiar symbols.Masterfully created by hand, with a core of sterling silver that allows the beads to run smoothly over a beautiful fox chain with double-sided clasp, Trollbeads can be arranged in any combination you can think of, giving you the chance to express your own individual style and tell your unique story.
